Frequently asked questions
How many tracks should I choose — 2 or 3?
A 2-track window covers half the opening at a time and suits most rooms. A 3-track adds a fixed centre or extra sliding panel for wider openings where you want more of the window open at once, such as a balcony or shopfront.
Can sliding windows be fitted with insect mesh?
Yes — we fit an integrated mesh channel into the track system so the screen slides independently of the glass panel, common on ground-floor and naturally ventilated rooms.
Are sliding windows secure enough for ground-floor openings?
With multi-point latching and a properly fitted track, yes. For added security on ground-floor or high-risk openings we can specify laminated glass and additional locking points.
