Overview

Casement windows hinge open fully on one side, giving unobstructed ventilation and an unbroken view when closed — the most widely specified window type for homes and offices alike.

We supply and install aluminium casement windows to custom sizes, with glazing and hardware specified to match the room’s thermal, acoustic, and security requirements.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Side-hung or top-hung — which should I pick?

Side-hung casements give the widest fully-open ventilation and suit most rooms. Top-hung is better for openings above head height or where you want to leave a window ajar without it swinging into a walkway.

Can casement windows take double glazing?

Yes, our standard casement profile accepts both single and double glazing — double glazing is worth specifying for rooms facing direct sun or busy roads.

How is a casement window different from a sliding window?

A casement hinges fully open for maximum ventilation and an unbroken view when shut; a slider takes no swing space but only ever opens half its width. Choose casement where airflow matters most, sliding where swing clearance is tight.
