For residential use, yes — uPVC profiles are durable and low-maintenance, though aluminium remains the stronger choice for very large openings or higher wind-load sites.
Does uPVC framing yellow or fade over time?
Quality uPVC profiles are UV-stabilised and hold their colour well for many years; we source profiles rated for outdoor exposure.
Can uPVC profiles be painted a different colour later?
It's possible with specialist uPVC paint systems, but most projects choose white or woodgrain at installation since repainting uPVC isn't as straightforward as aluminium.
