Overview
A glass canopy frames a building entrance with transparency and elegance while providing weather protection. Barakah designs and installs canopies over main entrances, walkways between buildings, and al-fresco areas where a lightweight, light-transmitting cover is preferred.
All canopy glass is laminated safety glass so that, in the unlikely event of breakage, fragments remain bonded. Support brackets and fixings are engineered to the span and local wind loading requirements.

Will a glass canopy leak in heavy rain?
No — drainage is designed into the canopy from the outset, with falls and gutters engineered for the span and local rainfall intensity.
What happens if the canopy glass is damaged?
All canopy glass is laminated, so even if a panel cracks, the fragments stay bonded in place rather than falling — we'd then arrange a panel replacement.
Can a glass canopy be curved rather than flat?
Yes — flat, mono-pitch, and curved canopy shapes are all available depending on the entrance design.
