Barakah Trading & Consultancy

Overview

Mild steel offers the strength and formability needed for structural elements, security grilles, entry gates, support frames, and decorative architectural metalwork.

Barakah’s steel workshop handles MIG and arc welding, cutting, and forming. Finished work is galvanised and powder-coated or painted to specification, providing long-term corrosion protection in the humid Bangladeshi climate. We also produce support steelwork for glass and ACP cladding systems where aluminium profiles alone are insufficient.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does mild steel rust, and how is that managed?

Untreated mild steel will rust, so every installation is primed and finished with a protective coating — powder coating or paint — suited to the exposure it’ll see.

Is mild steel suitable for structural framing, or just decorative work?

Both — mild steel is a genuine structural material used for framing, staircases, and gates, not just decorative elements.

Can mild steel be welded on site for awkward installations?

Yes — site welding is part of how we handle installations where a piece can't be fully pre-fabricated off-site.
