How wide can a sliding door opening be?
Our 3-way General Model adds a third track so panels can stack further to one side, giving a wider clear opening than a standard 2-panel slider — a common solution for shopfronts and large balcony openings.
Are sliding doors as weatherproof as a hinged door?
Yes, when properly installed — the track system seals against the frame on all sides when closed, and we select the track and seal grade to match the site's wind and rain exposure.
Can I get Georgian bar detailing on a sliding door?
Yes — our Georgian Series and Euro Model Georgian Bar variants apply traditional bar detailing to the sliding profile without changing how the door operates.
